What is Dynamic Signature Verification ?

Dynamic Signature Verification is the process used to recognize an individual’s handwritten signature.

There is an important difference between simple signature comparisons and Dynamic Signature Verification: both can be applied for authentication, but a simple comparison is only checking if the signature shapes looks like, while dynamic signature verification which takes account of many other dynamic parameters, like timing in X, Y, Z and pressure.

Since shape or look of the signature is not meaningful for dynamic signature verification, only the original signer can recreate the changes in timing.

You may have tested the “Grapho-Lock Addin for Office” software, creating several profiles for user authentication.

Now you'd like to suppress some useless profiles: It is easy, just browse your hard drive for “.wgl” files (by default on the “%USER%\Application Data\Grapho-Lock\” folder for Windows XP and on the “\ProgramData\Grapho-Lock\” folder for Windows Vista).

The name of these file are formatted like “<username>.wgl”.

Delete as needed. You are done !
